Genshin Impact is definitely beautiful to look at, with its high-definition graphics and soothing, engrossing soundtrack. Combined with an engaging, perfectly polished storyline, the game provides a highly refined sensory delight. The visual quality of MiHo yo's latest release holds up quite well compared to other AAA games released last year. And considering that the game is free, this new hidden object adventure game is a steal--even for those who have been waiting for the release of the sequel to be played on the PC.
Genshin Impact has many positive aspects to it. For one thing, its free, so you don't lose any money downloading it. Plus, you are given extra inventory and weapons right at the beginning of the game, allowing you to further immerse yourself into the story and adventure at hand. The controls of the PC version are smooth and responsive, with options such as keyboard controls and WASD movement, allowing your character to move in whatever direction you choose. If you were not impressed with the first few minutes of the free demo, then expect the same from the full version--in other words, you should expect a very engrossing and exciting game with lots of hidden objects and other miscellaneous puzzles to solve.
In general, the storyline is engrossing with a number of different characters each with their own motivations, backgrounds, and circumstances. While there are no major characters, the secondary characters that are present do leave an impression because they are more of a supporting cast to the main protagonist, Yumi Teyvat. There are also quite a few mini-games and challenges that are available from time to time, ranging from brain teaser and memory race challenges to puzzle and musical activities. With all these features and many more, Genshin Impact, like the first teaser, is well worth the download cost and money you paid for it.
